IJM returns to illogicon in Cary, NC

Hey gang, as the title denotes, I’ll be a returning guest at the 2015 illogicon, Jan. 9-11 in Raleigh. My panel schedule is as follows:

iAuthor: Indie Publishing 101 (Saturday, Jan 10 at 6PM in Reynolds Hall) — I’ll again be joined by my good friend and fellow author Chris Kennedy for a discussion on all things indie/self-publishing. Unlike our course at HonorCon, however, this panel will offer a brief educational component for those who’ve never published a book, followed by an extensive Q&A.

The Sporting Geek (Sunday, Jan. 11 at 1PM in Cameron Hall) —Join myself and other sports fans as we discuss the prevalence of sports culture within the context of sci-fi and fantasy. Can Jocks and Geeks ever TRULY live in peace? Come be a part of the discussion and find out!

As before, illogicon 2015 will be hosted by:

Embassy Suites Raleigh-Durham/Research Triangle

201 Harrison Oaks Blvd

Cary, NC 27513

For more information on admission, panel schedules, the dealer’s room, and more, log onto the illogicon website.

The Mako Manifesto (IJM's blog) moves to Wordpress!

In response to the growing amount of requests I've been getting for Mako/RSD-related news and updates, I've decided to move my blog from Google's Blogger service, where it's lived for the past two years, to Wordpress.  This will hopefully allow me to get more traction out of my social media network, and thereby help me get more info out to a wider audience with greater ease.
